Palestine 1935
A while ago I was in the UK seeing my family, my father was sorting out the house because he wants to move into a new home when he came across a 12-page report that his mother had written about her visit to the holy land in 1935.
There was also photographs in a nice photo album.
What an amazing treasure and find.
I never really knew my Grandmother so finding this was a real blessing for me.
1935 was of course during the British mandate period, Completely different to life today in the holy land. My grandmother’s pictures reflect some of that life and I would like to share some of them with you now.
So, sit back, relax and let’s travel back in time together.
