Beware!!!!
There are wolves in our pulpit today.
They preach something very different than what the bible teaches.
So we have to be very careful.
Who is your spiritual leader?
Are they aligned with the bible ?
I don't mean little things but on the fundamental things of the bible.
What that leader says can do so much damage.
For example, If a young man is struggling with Gay thoughts and he goes to his pastor and Says “Pastor I am struggling with Gay thoughts”.
Then the pastor says “Don't worry it is ok to live a homosexual life, It is OK to find another man as a boyfriend, Sex with another man is ok, So don't worry”.
Then that young man will believe that Homosexuality is ok and will be led into a life of sin.
If he goes to a bible believing Pastor and says “Pastor I am struggling with Gay thoughts”
the bible believing pastor will tell him, “You cannot live a homosexual life and be right with God, So if you want to be God's disciple then you need to live a celibate life, Which will be hard but God's Holy Spirit is inside of you.”
That young man will walk away knowing that if he strays then it is a sin to be repented of.
One Pastor leads someone into sin the other leads him away from sin.
We need to make sure that the advice we receive lines up with the bible.
The pastor isn't our guide, The bible is our guide.
Don't let your bible sit on the shelf, Don't let it sit there gathering dust.
Make sure it is open and being read daily, It will guide your steps.
