The seasons come and the seasons go, they bring a variety of change, Every

season has something special for us to look forward to, Spring has the new

born lambs in the field, Summer has the hot sun, Autumn has the leaves falling

to the ground and winter has the snow.

But it is in winter that we need to look after each other more, especially the

elderly.

It may not always snow in Bethlehem but it is a time to check on your

neighbor, Are they OK? Are they well?, do they need anything?

Its a time to care and show concern for the more vulnerable in our

community.

Bethlehem is one big family and as one big family we need to make sure that

those around us are doing well and being looked after.

Who is around your home today, in the neighborhood?

Get to know who is there and check on those who are most in need.

You will be a good neighbor and a good Samaritan.

Perhaps there is a leaky tap or a faulty TV Ariel, 5 minutes of your time will

help that neighbor out.

We can all do our part to help others, it just takes willingness and time.

Some people need medicine from the pharmacy, They don't have a car so it is

very difficult to go and get it.

You can be the one to help, as you begin to build a relationship with those

around you then you will begin to understand the needs, You can nip up to the

pharmacy and get that medicine which is needed, or you can give that person

the lift to the pharmacy. All it cost was a little bit of petrol and a little bit of

time, But it means so much more to a person who is in need.

Little acts of kindness are what this world needs.

As we all do our bit we begin to make the world as a better place.

It starts with you.!
