Today nobody likes to wait.
We live in a fast society where we want everything now.
We want fast and convenient food.
In the past we waited for a letter but now with email and messenger we can send a message and it’s delivered straight away.
But there is value in waiting.
It builds patience.
Society is so fast now a days that we forget to wait on God.
We don’t sit in a chair in quiet, reflecting on the good things of God .
It sometimes seems that we are scared of the quiet.
We have to be constantly entertained .
But take some time out of a busy day just to quietly reflect on the goodness of God.
Allow his peace to wash over you as you wait on him .
Waiting is important.
