A wolf in sheep's clothing

A sheep is a beautiful animal, but it is also very vulnerable.

In the UK we don't have wolves or Lions roaming the countryside, but a dog like a border collie can attack a sheep and kill it. Once that dog has tasted blood then it is a very big problem.

But can you imagine if there was a wolf among the flock.

That wolf looked like the sheep and sounded like the sheep, but it wasn't.

It was a predator, who one by one will destroy the flock.

We have wolves in our churches, They are posing as priests and pastors.

They are a threat to the sheep in the church.

They may say I love Jesus but they are not aligned to the teachings of the bible and will happily lead you away from God's teachings.

We need to be very careful.

The bible tells us that Satan himself comes as an angel of light.

Satan came to Jesus and told him to throw himself down because God will send an angel to catch him, Satan quoted scripture to Jesus.

But because Jesus understood the word of God he knew that Satan was wrong.

So how do we protect ourselves from wolves in the pulpit.?

We get to know the word of God, We meditate on it, we read it, we listen to it.

So that when a Wolf preacher steps into the pulpit and preaches we know straight away that what is being said is not correct.

That Wolf preacher doesn't reflect what the bible says, Doesn't reflect the fundamental teachings that are taught in the bible.

Today we can protect ourselves, Get to know the word of God.
