Is someone in Control?

The wrong place or the right place?

I went to Ben Gurion airport to fly to England on March the 5^th; I had left Bethlehem and my house and cats that morning and got transport to take me to the airport.

When I arrived in the airport I found out that Bethlehem had gotten the virus.

I had just got out in time! Bethlehem came under lockdown!

I had a week’s holiday in London and then went to visit someone near Birmingham for a week then finally got to my home area.

It was a few days into being in my home area that we went the same way as Bethlehem and went under lockdown.

No one is allowed to go out!

You’re only allowed to go out for essential work, Food, medicine or to help someone.

You are allowed to go out for your daily exercise but you must keep 2 metres away from other people.

I had a flight back to the Holy Land with Easy Jet but they cancelled all their flights, so I booked a flight with Polish Airlines but they too cancelled all their flights.

I am stuck in the UK when I want to be in Bethlehem.

But there is nothing I can do.

So now I need to make the most of my situation. Which is what I am doing.

I am in a beautiful location, Very close to the Lake District.

It is beautiful.

I go for a lot of walks and at the same time Pray for my friends back in the Holy Land.

I have also taken a lot of pictures, it is spring and spring is a very beautiful time, the trees have blossom, the leaves are budding, the lambs are out in the fields and the flowers are sharing their beauty.

I may not be where I should be, but I am not going to complain, I am going to enjoy where God has placed me for this time.

Complaining won’t change my situation anyways.

I am healthy, alive and in the midst of beauty.

One day I will get back to Bethlehem, One day I will get to see all of my wonderful friends face to face on not just via the internet and social media until then I will thank God.

He is in control and I am in the right place at the right time.
