The fire extinguisher is a very important thing in a house or at a business.
It’s red and it sits in the corner doing nothing.
Month after month it sits there.
It doesn’t do a thing; it just quietly sits there.
Hopefully you will never have to use it.
But just to sit there doing nothing gives you confidence.
It’s very important because if there was ever a fire it would then spring into use.
It is small and insignificant, but it is something that could save a life.
The fire extinguisher puts the fire out and keeps everybody safe.
It destroys the danger.
As a Christian we have God all around us keeping us safe.
He is always there, Even when we don’t feel like he is.
We can have a relationship with him because he loves us and protects us from harm.
God is always there just like the fire extinguisher.
Thank God today for his loving arm of protection.
